WHAT SIZE FOR YOUR COMFORTER?

The first thing to know when buying a comforter is the size. For a single bed, we recommend that you opt for a 140x200 or 200x200 comforter. Double beds can be equipped with a 220x240 comforter, or even 240x260 for the largest bed models.

SUMMER AND WINTER COMFORTERS: THERE’S A COMFORTER FOR EVERY SEASON

A comforter for every season! In order to best appreciate the outside temperatures, several types of comforters have been created to meet your specific needs, depending on the warmth you require. So, all you have to do is choose between a summer comforter and a winter comforter to fully enjoy your nights. 

How do you know which one to buy? Rely on the weight of the comforter, in other words the weight of its filling. The rule to remember: the higher the weight, the warmer the comforter. For the summer, choose comforters with a weight of between 175 and 200 g/m². The warmest will reach a weight of 400 g/m². Intermediates exist - around 300 g/m² - and allow to comfort the most chilly, all year long.

SLEEP AT THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE

The season is not the only criterion to consider when choosing a comforter weight. Also take into account the average temperature of your room and your sleeping habits. We therefore opt for light comforters in rooms heated above 20°C or who do not like to be warm at night. On the other hand, the warmest comforters will suit those who like to cocoon or sleep in cool rooms. 

YOU ARE RATHER NATURAL COMFORTER...

Our natural comforters are made of white duck down and feathers. A filling with maximum comfort that also offers the comforter a lot of loft. Moreover, our products are very well insulated and have a longer life expectancy for the greatest pleasure of the sleepers.

Why choose a natural comforter ? For its lightness and its thermoregulatory power which allows to limit the perspiration during the night. The envelope, made of cotton percale, also provides a lot of softness to the equipment. It prevents the passage of feathers, while playing a role of anti-mite barrier.

...OR SYNTHETIC COMFORTER ?

Synthetic comforters, on the other hand, promise a good quality/price ratio. Comfortable, they are also often more accessible. They are thus composed of a 100% polyester filling made of siliconized hollow fibers which slide more than the traditional fibers and are balanced suitably in all the comforter. Specificities which ensure a pleasant heat and a beautiful flexibility.

Our synthetic comforters are treated with anti-dust mite and anti-bacteria, ideal for a good night's sleep in all circumstances. The cover is also woven in white cotton and brings a real comfort at bedtime.
